Our dedicated TNR program was officially established in 2023 where we TNR’d about 26 cats but unfortunately had to stop due to budget and time constraints. In 2025, we re-launched with an aim to cover multiple areas that are filled to the brim with cats. The cat population in Qatar has reached over 2 million, with both the cats and rescues struggling. Our main goal is 200 cats and are currently at 70, the cats we trap are sterilized and vaccinated. The areas we are focusing on include: New Doha, Muntazah, Mansoura, Rawdat Al Hamama, Al Luqta, Al Hilal. We are also aiming to expand into other areas but at the moment, we are extremely limited in resources (volunteers, sponsors, food, etc.)
